What this site collects

This is a personal site. Data you may submit includes your name, email address, subject, and message through the contact form, and questions plus recent conversation context through Ask Chris (AI). Newsletter subscriptions are handled on LinkedIn. The site also uses Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights for aggregate page-load and traffic patterns.

Analytics data is anonymized and aggregated. No personally identifying information is attached to page views.

How it is used

Contact-form submissions are used only to deliver and respond to your message. When email delivery is configured, the site sends them through Resend to the designated inbox. If delivery is unavailable, the form reports that it did not send your message; it does not save the submission to runtime logs. Contact data is not sold or used for marketing.

Ask Chris (AI)

When you use Ask Chris (AI), your question and the recent conversation context shown in the chat are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a response. Anthropic processes that content to provide the response, subject to its own terms and privacy practices. Do not submit confidential, personal, customer, employee, financing, or other non-public information.

This site does not intentionally store Ask chat transcripts in its own database. Review Anthropic's privacy policy for information about its processing.

Cookies

Vercel Analytics may set a first-party cookie for session counting. No third-party advertising cookies are set. No cross-site tracking.

Data retention

Successfully delivered contact-form data is retained in the receiving mailbox for as long as the conversation is active, then archived or deleted. This site does not retain failed contact submissions or Ask chat transcripts in an application database. Analytics data is retained according to Vercel's standard retention policy.

Newsletter signup records submitted through an earlier version of this site may remain in private Vercel storage. They are not used for new marketing or shared with third parties. You may request a copy or deletion through LinkedIn or the contact section below.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, request deletion, or ask a privacy question through the contact section or LinkedIn. EU, UK, and California privacy rights apply where required by law.
